Installation of an electrically driven centrifugal pump
ESPs are designed to lift well fluid (mixture of oil, associated water and gas) from oil wells under both normal and severe operating conditions.

ESP units are manufactured in modular, sectional design with flanged section connections.

Pump Section :
Multistage centrifugal submersible pumps consist of a rotating impeller and stationary diffuser that can be stacked in either a floating or compression configuration to meet the highest performance requirements.

Before shipment, ESP pumps are performance tested in accordance with API RP 112S and ISO 9001 quality standards on a computerized test rig to confirm effective downhole performance.

Suction :
The intake is designed to receive formation fluid flowing into the ESP. The intake consists of a one-piece casing with holes for receiving formation fluids, with radial bearings pressed into the casing inside which the shaft rotates. A suction strainer is installed on the outside of the intake to protect it from solid particles. The inside of the module is protected by a stainless steel liner.

Protector:
The motor is a two-pole, squirrel cage induction motor, manufactured in a variety of ratings, operating voltages and currents to meet extreme pressure and temperature requirements.

Motor sizes are available in the 375, 456, 540 and 562 series. They are filled with high dielectric mineral oil before shipment.

Consideration of downhole media issues, combined with a positive barrier to downhole fluids, makes our tread the best choice in sealing chambers for long submersible motor life.

We supply 375, 400, 540 treads in various SB, DB labyrinth and modular configurations.

Gas separator:
Unique design combined with the toughest materials for sand and corrosion protection have made our gas separator a leader in performance.

The suction section of the submersible pump functions as a suction manifold, feeding the well fluid to the pump. In standard applications, the suction section can be a simple inlet adapter attached between the containment canopy and the pump.

A gas separator, designed to separate free gas from the well fluid before it enters the pump, replaces the suction section.

Gas manipulator:
The gas manipulator reduces bubble size, returns gas to the solution and homogenizes the mixture.

The gas-liquid mixture ensures stable pump operation and reduces pump vibration, and creates additional head due to the gas-lift effect in the tubing.

As the fluid rises through the tubing, free gas is released from the reservoir fluid, which, expanding, further lifts the fluid.
